Glenloch Tea Factory

On our trip towards Colombo our day second stop was Glenloch tea factory. The fectory area was busy with a bus of tourists, Some are shopping in the tea shop, some are Taking foods in the restaurant. We got opportunity to walk amongst the tea bushes in the factory,  our driver very kindly offered to see the tea processing step leaf to cup, but we don't want go inside of the factory with kids.

Insha Allah! My next trip i would love visit tea factory to witness how tea is being made and sample some of the tea that they make. Most tea factories in Nuwara Eliya opens its doors to tourists and you can choose to buy boxes of tea, which would make great gifts,We brought green tea and black tea for gifts too :) 

Glen Tea Factory situated in Nuwara Eliya District at Katukithula on the way to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy. GlenLoch tea plantation at Katukithula are been maintain using all the correct method of planting, Soil conversation and Maneuvering.
